This is an incredible performance by nature in three impressive acts, starting at the car park in Winkel near Sand in Taufers. The path to the first waterfall leads along a well-made forest path for approx. 15 min. On stone steps, you then continue up to the second waterfall, which has its own viewing platform. After another gentle ascent, you will finally reach the third waterfall, which is an impressive 40m tall. Here you get to a café, and at the starting point at the bottom, there is a place to hang out, the Wasserfallbar (waterfall bar).

The earth pyramids in Platten near Percha are without a doubt an architectural masterpiece of Mother Nature and are sure to leave you awestruck. The hike takes you across beautiful forest hills, and after about 45 minutes, you will reach the unique formations. You won’t be able to stop yourself from marvelling. A must-see! Coffee and delicious cakes are served at the Pyramidencafe, or – as you know – directly at our Zirm!

The 1.5km circuit walk in the realm of Alpine wildlife starts directly at the mountain station of the Helm cable cars in Vierschach. Here, 10 exciting adventure points await you, where Olperl introduces you to his animal friends. Additional highlights: Kinderalm, climbing tour, barefoot path, and the climbing trunks. In addition, there are great views of the peaks of the Sexten Dolomites, and all this is completely free of charge, the latter in any case!

Walking time approx. 1-1.5 hours, also possible with prams!

Watch out! The dinosaurs are loose, at an altitude of 1,600 metres on the Klausberg mountain in Ahrntal! Step out of the cable car and into a dinosaur adventure: only about 15 minutes from the mountain station, 10 life-size dinosaurs await visitors of all ages. In addition, there is a water adventure world with sand and mud pools, as well as a balance course with slack lines and nets in the exciting Family Park.

Standing rope swing, wobbling platform, stretching oasis, different walking, proprioception paradise (huh?), balancing course, climbing route and more – yes, the 5,000m² motor skills park with a total of 12 stations has a lot to offer. Most of all, challenges, fun and action for all active people, big and small! The best way to find out what a “proprioception paradise” really is is to come and see for yourself.

A fun toboggan ride in summer? You bet! The super cool toboggan run on the Haunold mountain makes it possible. Funbob promises a fun-filled ride with a length of 1,739m and a difference in altitude of 314m. What are you waiting for? Get on your toboggan, get set, go! By the way, children under 8 years of age ride for free but must be accompanied by an adult. 3, 2, 1, action!

This area was the scene of conflict during the First World War, and today it is a witness to the terrible events that took place there. Many of the defensive structures, tunnels, galleries and trenches built at the time have been carefully restored and can be visited, as can old artefacts on display in the Bosi Hut. This is also where the hiking trail to the individual points of the open-air museum starts, which takes between 2.5 and 4 hours depending on your mood and occasionally also leads across exposed sections with secured ropes. It’s a cool mix for an eventful day.

Cast off and fish on! That’s the motto at the idyllically situated fishing pond with a small children’s playground, sun terrace, and café. You can reach it either directly by driving to Antholz Niedertal or by taking a leisurely straight hike through the fascinating biotope. It is located in a shady deciduous forest and offers fantastic opportunities to observe flora and fauna. If you want, you can start here at the playground (yes, another one!) in Oberrasen or continue along the road to the small biotope car park. Perfect also for a bike tour!

If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, you’ll find it on an exciting rafting trip! The wild rides through the rushing white water and deep gorges are guaranteed to make your adventurous heart beat faster! We definitely recommend it for the brave and even the less brave because the experts have the right adventure programme for whatever your limit may be.

If you want to leave the ground beneath you for a change, you can do so in the high ropes course in Issing near Pfalzen, where you can climb high. Or a little less high, whatever you want. There are different courses with varying levels of difficulty and tree heights. But they all have one thing in common, and that’s pure adventure and plenty of thrills. Afterwards, you can happily reward yourself with a gelato right by the lake. Or cool off, the “Issinger Weiher” also becomes a bathing lake in the hot months!
