It feels like the 385th time we've driven over the Brenner Pass, while it feels like the 331st time we've spent our holiday in South Tyrol.
Past the Brennersee lake, via Sterzing, on to the Mühlbacher Klause and into the green valley.
The Pustertal Valley!
My eyes wander past the high forests and passionately tended farms, surrounded by grazing cows.
I lower my car seat a little to a comfortable position, and when I squint my eyes, I can already see them, the first mountain peaks, small at first and getting bigger and bigger with every kilometre.
What can I say, South Tyrol, it's the most beautiful place after all!
We, Anna and David, decided on something new for our 331st holiday in South Tyrol, something freer, more relaxed but still with a lot of comfort.
Until then, we had never been particularly keen to experiment.
4-star hotel, beautiful pool landscape, fine relaxation areas, good food, breakfast at 9.00 am, day trip at 10.00 am, coffee and cake at 3.00 pm, a dip in the pool at 5.00 pm, meeting at the buffet at 7.00 pm - dinner time!
Everything on time and everything together with lots of other guests in the queue.
It's okay, but it's a bit hackneyed and no longer the right thing for us for our next holiday.
We were looking for something different, something new, and found it with Evelin and Anni, up in Geiselsberg, at 1,400 metres. Now we're looking forward to meeting them and their ZIRMtastic team in summer,
true to the motto "more FREEDOM in FREETIME!"

Saturday afternoon, Anna and David have made themselves comfortable at home in the garden, computer open, sunglasses prepared, sparkling drink mixed, everything ready to hand, legs crossed, summer holiday planning - let's go!

... and literally looks like a unique ‘TOPPERIA’ in the middle of the mountains.
They scroll up and down, the mouse flits from left to right, these unique images, this panoramic location, this feeling of freedom - WOW!
Goosebumps spread across your arms, it only takes seconds and your whole body is covered in them.
The round brown eyes are getting bigger and bigger, they sparkle, et voilà, Anna and David are in a holiday mood.
So many possibilities, so much variety - ZIRMtastic!
Oooops - now they've even bumped their noses into the PC screen out of curiosity. They can hardly believe it and crawl further and further into the computer, which was storing this unusual holiday offer.
Without moving their noses away from the screen, they feel their way to the telephone receiver, +39 0474 592054, "Kronplatz-Resort Berghotel Zirm Hello", sounds the friendly voice at the other end of the line.
The South Tyrolean heartiness! She gets straight through the line to the other end, mixed with information, tips and recommendations, calmly, with open ears and a familiar South Tyrolean accent.
We chatted, asked about necessities and ideas and then talked about our various offers including a lot of FREEDOM.
There was a spark -
ThePerfectMatch - the sweet smell of holiday bliss spread far and wide!
And now we're all relaxed and full of anticipation, because it won't be long now before
we're writing holiday stories together.
